Interior architecture students have several opportunities to study abroad. Believing that design connects across, and among different cultures, FIU interior architecture students connect with people and places of many cultures and backgrounds.
Students have access to studio facilities 24 hours a day. This allows students opportunities to build knowledge and relationships that last a lifetime.
Small student to faculty ratios provide one on one instruction. This offers students an intense learning experience in a relaxed atmosphere. We believe this is the best way to build knowledge and to promote creativity.
FIU Interior Architecture students from Cruise Ship and Super Yacht Design Certificate program worked as interns with Royal Caribbean. The result was the design the Hideaway aboard the Allure of the Seas.
Our students win design awards from many different competitions. This student project from the Building Systems for Interiors course earned honorable mention in DalTile competition.
Students in Cruise Ship and Super Yacht Certificate program design exciting venues on cruise ships and super yachts. This innovative program offers FIU interior architecture students a unique access to this growing industry. The program involves study abroad, access to industry professionals and various field experiences to build competency in design of maritime interiors.
